Ah... summer days.

Well... sort of. It has been quite cool and rainy rainy. Amongst the weeds in the garden, I am finding lettuce, spinach, and beets growing. Very encouraging. 
And... with spring and summer comes the excitement of longer days, new beginnings, and fun times with friends and family. So, with that "we" decided to add to our growing family. Introducing, a new puppy - still unnamed, this little snuggler came to us a couple of days ago.  As he is smaller than our one-year old Simon-the-cat... he has been accepted by our, until recently solo, furry friend rather well.
