Well... sort of. It has been quite cool and rainy rainy. Amongst the weeds in the garden, I am finding lettuce, spinach, and beets growing. Very encouraging. 
And... with spring and summer comes the excitement of longer days, new beginnings, and fun times with friends and family. So, with that "we" decided to add to our growing family. Introducing, a new puppy - still unnamed, this little snuggler came to us a couple of days ago.  As he is smaller than our one-year old Simon-the-cat... he has been accepted by our, until recently solo, furry friend rather well.

Last month was a youth workshop at the gallery. Making pin-badges with a great group of kids... who can complain?

This month I am preparing for a GOUACHE PAINTING WORKSHOP. To be held at the gallery on Saturday the 25th of June. There is only ONE space left if you are interested in joining?? <[email protected]>

As well, quilting and gardening... not to mention two little ones that are keeping me busy! Life is good.

A glass of wine, a quiet house, and the internet is connected.
It is a nice, relaxing evening in the Hayes' household.
I am looking forward to the painting workshop this weekend... what a great excuse to spend the day with inspiring artists.
