Well... from bugs to rainy rainy days. The weather continues to keep us indoors. We do spend some muddy hours in the garden - stomping in puddles and pulling weeds. The evenings sure do allow for me to paint though... here is what I am currently working on... Sunny days aren't plentiful, but the black flies are! ...the outdoor bugs are keeping us inside these days... which is great for tackling renovations. I have been wall-papering the studio... need to prime some walls and paint.
Puppy is now named. Talisker. Only whiskey distillery on the Isle of Skye, Scotland. He is growing fast!
Well... sort of. It has been quite cool and rainy rainy. Amongst the weeds in the garden, I am finding lettuce, spinach, and beets growing. Very encouraging.
And... with spring and summer comes the excitement of longer days, new beginnings, and fun times with friends and family. So, with that "we" decided to add to our growing family. Introducing, a new puppy - still unnamed, this little snuggler came to us a couple of days ago. As he is smaller than our one-year old Simon-the-cat... he has been accepted by our, until recently solo, furry friend rather well. Here he is... June 2011 - T.A.G. ...You're it!

This month I am preparing for a GOUACHE PAINTING WORKSHOP. To be held at the gallery on Saturday the 25th of June. A glass of wine, a quiet house, and the internet is connected.
It is a nice, relaxing evening in the Hayes' household. I am looking forward to the painting workshop this weekend... what a great excuse to spend the day with inspiring artists. Oh, it is this easy.
